THE SETTING

Ballara Receptions offers you a lovely serene environment to celebrate a loved ones passing.

The estate is exclusively yours for the hire time so that everyone can relax and take in the surrounds.

With extensive garden areas and a picturesque lake with water features, Ballara provides a tranquil backdrop for you and your guests. You can hold the service in the Ballara Chapel or grounds, and have the ability to continue the celebration with various catering options.

THE SERVICE

The Ballara Chapel is a private non-denominational chapel with white soaring ceilings and rustic timber beams.

Pew seating accommodates 100 people with additional space and couches for a further 60 people.

The Chapel comes with microphones, sound system for your music and TV for a memory slideshow, which is operated by your funeral directors. Heating and cooling allow for year round comfort and complimentary car parking onsite for 80 cars.

THE CELEBRATION – THE FOYER

Following the service, refreshments can be served in the foyer which can hold 20 – 100 people. Opening onto the veranda and gardens, the foyer provides a tranquil space for everyone to gather with cooling, heating and a central fireplace.

A bar is located at the end of the foyer for service of beverages, tea and coffee stations are set up for easy access and food is displayed around the foyer for guest convenience. To make your guests comfortable, a range of lounge furniture is provided while still leaving ample standing room for those wanting to mingle.

THE CELEBRATION – THE MAINROOM

If your celebration is for larger groups of 100-160 guests, the main room can be hired for your refreshments.

With windows overlooking the peaceful gardens, the larger room allows for more seating at tables and chairs, while still leaving plenty of space for others to mingle and move about.

Large round tables are centrally located for the service of food, tea and coffee stations are provided and a bar area for beverages.

Heating and cooling is provided throughout this space and background music creates a relaxing setting.

REFRESHMENTS

Ballara has a range of food and beverage packages which can be tailored to your requirements.

Options can vary from a light afternoon tea – for example scones with jam and cream or sandwich points, to a substantial range of hot and cold savoury items and sweet treats. Or why not consider a grazing station,
filled with an array of cheeses, meats, dips, crackers & breads, nuts and fruits.

The bar will also be open for your preference of beverages – beer, wine, soft drink etc.
